You Could Be Me, I Could Be U

“You Could Be Me, I Could Be U” deals with a collective of individuals whom I documented over the course of a year while developing a dialogue between us out of a prism that examines the self as a flowing, dynamic, and ever-changing entity.

Driven by a desire to encourage the possibility of change, at the heart of which lies freedom of choice, I examine whether our representation or our appearance as humans serves us as an "armor", in an attempt to locate the point at which it begins to wear off.

By dismantling rigid definitions, the series creates space for constant movement, and strips away the performance of persona to allow for a raw, unfixed encounter with the individual.
